
In December 2007, I was asked to create this cake, which fed over 150 people, for a 50th Birthday Party. The birthday girl(!) picked out her cake topper, and I designed the cake from there. This was an almond/butter cake with chocolate butter cream filling/icing. The cake is covered in black and shimmery gold fondant, and gold edible beading.
This was my biggest cake to date, and it was a great hit.
And, oh yeah, it's theVFW table that's slanted, not the cake!
